Good Pizza, Great Pizza: Cheats, Tips & Hidden Mechanics That Actually Make a Difference3
Most people pick up Good Pizza, Great Pizza expecting a straightforward pizza sim. Make the order, collect the cash, repeat.
That was me for the first few days. Then I began to see that some story choices had real money effects.
Some were worth hundreds of Cash. Others were lost forever if you missed the window. Here's what I wish someone had told me earlier.

Help Buddy All Six Times â It's Worth More Than You Think
Buddy, the homeless man who first appears on Day 3 of Chapter 1, is easy to dismiss as a one-off story moment. He's not.
He visits a total of six times in the chapter. If you feed him at every visit, two things happen on Day 21. Alicante, your rival across the street, gets defeated. Buddy then hands you 100 Cash to say thanks.
Help him at least once and you'll also unlock the "Have a Heart, Buddy" achievement for 1 Pizza Gem. But the full reward only kicks in if you've been consistent.
A basic flatbread cut into six slices works fine for his order. He has no topping preferences. So do not waste your better ingredients on him.
Water Eleanor's Plant Every Day (Free Eggplant)
On Day 4, Eleanor Greenfield walks in with no money but offers you a potted plant in exchange for a free pizza. Say yes. Water the plant daily for four days straight, and on Day 8 she returns to unlock Eggplant at no cost.
This matters more than it seems. You need eggplant for the Basil Steward trial in Chapter 2.
Veggie Man also orders vegetarian pizzas with it in the game.
Pro Tip: Eggplant works differently from other ingredients because it runs out over time. Water and harvest it often, and plan to work that into your daily routine once it's unlocked.
Rufus Goldworthy: Which Investments Are Actually Worth It
Rufus shows up across Chapters 1 and 2 with a series of money requests. Here's the breakdown of what each one actually returns:
â˘Chapter 1: Feed him pizza (free), optional. No major impact either way.
â˘Chapter 2, First Ask: He wants 100 Cash to finish his Pizzapedia app. Returns only 50 Cash later. (Net loss of 50 Cash).
â˘Chapter 2, Second Ask: He wants 150 Cash for a new startup (later revealed to be the ZaZoom delivery app). Returns 340 Cash. (Net gain of 190 Cash).
The second investment is the one that matters. One catch: If you accepted the 50 Cash repayment from the first investment, your final return drops.
On the second investment, it falls to 290 Cash instead of 340 Cash. If you're going for maximum return, let him keep the 50 Cash when he offers it back!
Chapter 4 Price Hikes: Pick the Right Ad Every Time
Chapter 4 throws five ingredient price hikes at you through Dr. Price's Promotional Ad system. The logic is simple once you see the pattern. When costly ingredients rise in price, steer customers to cheaper options with your ad choices:
â˘Classic meat toppings affected: Go Veggie Ad
â˘All meat toppings affected: Meatless Lover Ad
â˘Fruit, vegetables, and mushrooms affected: Meat Lover Ad
â˘All green toppings affected: Crimson Flavor Ad
â˘Every purchased topping affected: Fresh Produce Ad
One thing the game doesnât say clearly: price hikes also affect ZaZoom delivery orders. Promotional Ads donât cover those. If delivery orders hurt your margins on a given day, simply restart the game day. This will reset the ZaZoom queue.
Elliot & Sasha: Don't Miss These Payouts
Elliot St. Claire (Chapter 4)
Elliot shows up with two investment pitches. Always pick PizzaToken.
â˘Mozza cars: Put in 200 Cash, get back 400 Cash. Straightforward double.
â˘PizzaToken vs. Rocket: Put in 250 Cash. PizzaToken returns 500 Cash. Rocket returns exactly 250 Cash (you break even and get nothing). There's no scenario where Rocket is the better choice.
Sasha (Chapter 4)
Sasha asks for financial help â first 50 Cash, then more. The instinct is to stop after one or two donations.
But the full payout only triggers after you donate 200 Cash across all her visits. At the end of the chapter, she returns 300 Cash, plus 5 Garlic Seeds, 5 Sliced Tomato Seeds, and 5 Jalapeno Seeds. The 100 Cash profit plus the seeds makes this one of the best passive investments.
Festival Timing in Chapter 1
Chapter 1 has four topping festivals. During each festival, customers order the featured toppings at a noticeably higher rate. The catch is that the ingredients go on sale when the festival starts. If you wait until Day 9 to buy Sausage, you fall behind.
Ingredient unlock schedule and costs:
â˘Sausage: available after Day 3 for 20 Cash (Sausage Festival on Day 9)
â˘Mushroom: available after Day 5 for 35 Cash (Mushroom Ceremony on Day 14)
â˘Olive: available after Day 8 for 50 Cash
â˘Onion: available after Day 11 for 70 Cash
â˘(Both Olive and Onion are needed for the "O" Festival on Day 19)
Buy each ingredient a day or two before its festival window if your Cash allows.
On "Cheats" and Infinite Coins
Good Pizza, Great Pizza doesn't have cheat codes. The game runs on a mobile engine and has no console input system. Any âunlimited coinsâ tutorials either use outdated versions or require modded APKs. Those are not worth the risk to your account.
The investment chains with Rufus, Elliot, and Sasha can earn you over 1,000 Cash if you play them correctly. That's more reliable than any mod!
